Practice with Less Stress and More Success

As anyone who is practicing can tell you, there is a lot to this career path that isn't taught in vet school or vet tech college. It's life knowledge that if you knew it and applied it, could help you find greater success, peace, fun, and joy in our careers.

I teach the art of creating a truly extraordinary, fulfilling career through online continuing education courses designed to identify and eradicate the root of professional problems that sabotage our success and happiness. These courses will not only help you avoid a lot of the problems I experienced, but will open up new ways of seeing that will, if you are willing, positively transform the way you practice vetmed and view yourself, and, dare I say, make vetmed fun again.

Seems like big promises...but I've seen it and lived it, and now I am sharing what I know with our profession, with you. Come with me, and find a new path to your practice. ✨

Why Choose These Courses?

  • RACE Approved

All courses are fully RACE approved for one hour of continuing education credit for veterinarians and veterinary technicians that can be done at-your-pace, anywhere, and in your pajamas with tea and a fur friend on your lap.

  • Reduce Stress, Improve Compliance

Unproductive and reactive human interactions constitute a large part of veterinary professional stress. Learn to facilitate productive, stress-free interactions that improve coworker and client relationships, increase compliance and adherence, and make you feel like a Jedi-level communicator. These are not the droids you're looking for...

  • Investment in your Most Important Asset: Yourself

It's not all about learning how to understand, talk to, and manage other people. You first have to be comfortable with managing yourself. That is why we include courses on building self confidence, overcoming imposter syndrome, managing yourself through conflict, and mastering real-world mindfulness that will transform your life and the way you practice. You deserve the best, and we are here to help you achieve it.

What Else Do I Get?

  • Workbook

Every course comes with a in-depth workbook that will help you deepen your learning and integrate the material in such a way that you can actually transform your veterinary practice and your life for the better. In the workbook, you will have the opportunity to engage with your lessons at the level that is best for your growth. How awesome is that?

Sarah J. Wooten, DVM, CVJ

A 2002 graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Sarah Wooten is a well known international speaker in the veterinary and animal health care spaces. She has 10 years experience in public speaking and media work, and writes for a large number of online and print animal health publications, sharing veterinary knowledge with pet parents. In the veterinary world, Dr. Wooten speaks on leadership, client communication, and personal development, and is known for her hilarious approach, authentic style, occasional dance parties, and a unique approach to veterinary life. Dr. Wooten is a certified veterinary journalist, a member of the AVMA, and has 16 years experience in small animal veterinary practice. Probably most important, she is a co-creator of the wildly popular card game ‘Vets Against Insanity’ for slightly scandalous veterinary professionals who like to laugh so hard they tinkle...just a little. She lives high in the mountains of Colorado with her family, and enjoys skiing, paddleboarding, fly fishing, and extra Anejo tequila.
